Coupled with the luck, abundance , fertility, creativity, family and speed of the rabbit symbolism (some more here about rabbit symbolism) I have painted the Hamsa, a sign of protection. (Rabbits tend to live in a level of fear so the Hamsa wards away any negativity so that the rabbit can focus on all the positive traits.)
Within the hand are relating symbols.
The cornucopia of abundance. The pomegranate of love and fertility. The Egyptian creation sign Ptah (a very powerful symbol). The Hindu Goddess Lakshmi's foot print for good fortune and blessings, The Runes Inguz and Fehu combined (included in Inguz are two Gebo of course and Kano, making it a complex and very positive Rune). The jade leaves of wealth, harmony, family, friends, prosperity and luck.
In the palm of the hand, is a Buddhist symbol representing our inner offerings (fruits, cymbals, the conch and mirror) which in turn is birthed from the jeweled lotus which sits on the skull of enlightenment.
This is a very sheer silk and will take on an added layer of depth depending on the choice of backing. As it stands, it is unmounted and will be sold as such (unless at a show, where it will be framed in a standard way.) this way, the buyer is free to choose the finish. Otherwise, please do visit my pages on the print on demand sites - either Redbubble or Pixels.com with their range of products.
